SCSPL came into existence in 1998 with the mandate to provide quality seed, a vital input of agriculture, to the farming sector coupled with making available seeds of varieties as well as hybrids suited to varied agro-climatic conditions of India.
The spectacular growth of the company over the past 25+ years has solely been due to the broad vision, dynamism, and idealism of its founder Chairman, Sh. Rajendra Singh Rathore.
He has profound knowledge and experience in agriculture which helped him understand the real needs of the farming community. His deep connection to farming roots — growing up in a farming family in western Rajasthan — gave him first-hand understanding of the challenges faced by dryland farmers.
Under his leadership, Synergy Crop Seeds established its first research centre in 2001, received DSIR R&D certification in 2007, and has since developed numerous high-performing varieties of mustard, moong, guar, cotton, wheat, and vegetable crops.
The scientific approach and farmer-first philosophy that Sh. Rathore instilled in the organization continues to guide every aspect of our operations — from research and seed production to quality control and market delivery.
We feel proud to mention that SCSPL is among the few private seed companies of Rajasthan to hold an active R&D certification from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
